Balochistan Orders Closure of Educational Institutions Until March 23

The government of Balochistan has announced the **temporary closure of all public and private educational institutions** across the province due to the prevailing regional situation.

According to a notification issued by the provincial **School Education Department**, all schools will remain closed from **March 9 to March 23, 2026**. The decision was taken to ensure administrative preparedness for any emergency and to address possible **transportation and mobility challenges** faced by the public.

However, the department clarified that **ongoing admission campaigns, digital school census activities, and scheduled examinations will continue** as planned. Relevant officials and staff have been directed to ensure these processes proceed in line with the department’s guidelines.

Meanwhile, the Balochistan Higher Education Department has also ordered the closure of **government intermediate colleges, degree colleges, technical colleges, and public sector universities** from **March 10 to March 23, 2026**.

During this period, **all teaching, academic, and administrative activities** in these institutions will remain suspended. 🎓📢
