Green Peoples Bus Service Launched in Turbat to Improve Public Transport

After Quetta, the **Green Peoples Bus Service** has now been officially launched in Turbat to provide modern public transport facilities to residents.
The service was inaugurated at Circuit House Turbat by Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the Chief Minister of Balochistan. Speaking at the ceremony, he said that the new bus service will enable **more than 4,500 people daily** to benefit from safe and modern transportation.

Officials said the launch of the Green Peoples Bus Service will provide improved and secure travel facilities to residents of Turbat and the wider Kech District. Authorities also announced that a **Pink Bus Service for women** will soon be introduced in Turbat.
During the briefing, officials stated that the modern buses have **37 seats** with a **total capacity of about 100 passengers** including standing space. Initially, **four buses** have been introduced in Turbat, and **18 bus stations** are being established across the city.
The service will operate on a **19-kilometer route**, benefiting around **4,500 passengers daily**. The buses include **reserved seats for women, children, and the elderly**, along with **wheelchair facilities for persons with disabilities**.
In addition, the buses are equipped with **emergency exits, fire extinguishers, and electronic screens displaying route information**, ensuring safe and convenient travel for passengers. 🚌
