Rain Spell Expected in Balochistan from Monday, Meteorological Department Issues Alert

Quetta: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued an alert forecasting a new spell of rain in Balochistan starting Monday, March 9, as a fresh weather system is expected to enter the province.
According to the department, the incoming system may bring thunderstorms and rainfall to more than half of the province’s districts. In some areas, rain accompanied by strong winds is also expected.
The provincial capital Quetta is likely to experience intermittent rainfall on March 10 and 11, which could lead to a noticeable drop in temperatures and a return of cooler weather conditions.
Meteorologists said the rainfall may reduce temperatures across the region and advised residents not to store their warm clothing yet, as the weather could turn colder again.
The department expressed hope that the rains would prove beneficial for the province and help ease concerns about drought in several areas.
