Former Wife Responds Sharply to Cricketer Imad Wasim’s Social Media Post
Former wife of Pakistani cricketer Imad Wasim, Saniya Ashfaq, has reacted strongly to his recent social media post, using harsh words in her response.
Imad Wasim and Saniya Ashfaq recently separated after six years of marriage. According to reports, Saniya Ashfaq is currently raising their three children on her own and claims that the children are being neglected by their father.
Recently, Imad Wasim shared a photo on social media on the occasion of his daughter Inaya’s birthday, writing: “Happy birthday to my daughter. Baba loves you very much.”
In response, Saniya Ashfaq also congratulated her daughter on her birthday but expressed disappointment over the situation. In her post, she wrote, “Happy fifth birthday to my beautiful daughter. You deserve a childhood filled with love, security and stability. It is painful to see messages on social media saying ‘Baba loves you very much,’ while privately institutions are being told to send the children and their mother to a homeless shelter because financial support is being stopped.”
She further added that children need protection, honesty and responsibility in real life, not just words posted on social media. “No matter what happens, a mother will always protect you and make sure you feel safe and loved every day,” she wrote.
Following the exchange on social media, many users expressed support for Saniya Ashfaq. Several people also wished Inaya a happy birthday and praised Saniya Ashfaq for her strength.
