Pakistan Intensifies Air and Ground Operations Against Afghan Taliban, Targets Bagram Airbase

Islamabad – Pakistan has reportedly escalated both ground and air operations in response to alleged aggression by the Afghan Taliban, including major airstrikes on Bagram Airbase, destroying an aircraft hangar and two warehouses. Satellite imagery has reportedly confirmed the damage.
The New York Times also reported that Pakistan successfully struck Bagram Airbase, with Afghanistan’s Ministry of Defense confirming the Pakistani airstrikes. Over the past week, Pakistan is said to have conducted more than 50 air raids within Afghanistan.
Defense experts describe the attack on Bagram as a significant blow to the Taliban government, sending a clear message that Pakistan is capable of conducting operations anywhere in Afghan territory if necessary. Analysts further note that despite repeated warnings, terrorist incidents originating from Afghan soil have continued, allegedly involving weaponry left behind by the U.S. military.
