Qatar Claims to Shoot Down Iranian Jets, Missiles, and Drones
**Doha:** Qatar’s Ministry of Defense has claimed that the **Qatari Air Force** successfully intercepted and destroyed two Iranian **SU-24 fighter jets**, seven ballistic missiles, and five drones before they could reach their targets.
According to the ministry, all missiles and drones were neutralized by Qatar’s **air defense systems** without causing any loss of life or property damage. Officials emphasized that the Qatari air force and air defense remain fully alert to protect the country’s airspace.
Security sources said the incident occurred amid rising regional tensions in the Middle East, making the situation increasingly sensitive. Iran has not issued any official response regarding the claims.
