Karachi flights to Middle East, domestic routes cancelled amid tensions

KARCHI: Several flights departing from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) to Middle Eastern countries were cancelled on Monday due to regional tensions.

Emirates Airline flight PK-609 was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to land in Dubai.

Two Qatar Airways flights QR-605 and QR-611 were cancelled. These flights were scheduled to depart from Karachi to Doha.

Three Flydubai flights FZ-299, 297, and 334 were cancelled. These flights were scheduled to depart from Karachi to Dubai.

Etihad Airways flight EY-293 was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to depart from Karachi to Abu Dhabi.

Air Arabia flight G9-543 was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to land in Sharjah from Karachi.

Oman Air flight WY-324 was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to land in Muscat from Karachi.

Six domestic flights were cancelled due to the Afghan aggression.

Air Sial flight PF-143 was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to land at Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA) in Lahore from Karachi.

Another flight, Airblue PA-406, was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to land at Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA) in Lahore from Karachi.

PIA flight PK-308 from Karachi to Islamabad was cancelled. Airblue flight PA-200 from Karachi to Islamabad was cancelled.

Fly Jinnah flight 9P851 was cancelled. From Karachi to Quetta. Another Fly Jinnah flight 9P865 was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to land at Bacha Khan Airport in Peshawar from Karachi.
