PkMAP Mourns Death of 7 Children in Chaman Cylinder Blast, Demands Financial Package and Free Treatment for Victims

**Quetta:** The Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party (PkMAP) has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the tragic gas cylinder explosion near Torpal in the outskirts of Chaman, which claimed the lives of seven children and left 17 others injured.

In a detailed statement issued from the party’s provincial secretariat, PkMAP described the incident as heartbreaking and said the loss of innocent lives is an irreparable tragedy that has plunged the entire province into mourning. The party leadership extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace for the departed souls and patience for the grieving relatives. It also expressed best wishes for the speedy and complete recovery of the injured.

PkMAP urged the government to immediately announce a substantial financial compensation package for the families of the deceased and to ensure that all medical expenses of the injured are borne by the state. The party also called for a special rehabilitation package for the affected families to help them recover from the devastating impact of the incident.

Furthermore, the statement demanded strict monitoring of the manufacturing, transportation, and refilling processes of gas cylinders to prevent such tragic incidents in the future. The party emphasized that safeguarding the lives and property of citizens is the fundamental responsibility of the state and that any negligence in this regard is unacceptable.

Reaffirming its commitment, PkMAP stated that it stands with the affected families and will continue to raise its voice at every forum to secure their rightful support and justice.
