Security Forces Kill 10 Militants in Intelligence-Based Operation in Zhob, Says ISPR

**Islamabad:** Security forces killed 10 militants during an intelligence-based operation in Zhob district of Balochistan, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army.
The Inter-Services Public Relations said the operation was conducted on February 25 as part of a comprehensive area sanitization drive based on credible intelligence reports. The action followed an earlier intelligence-based operation on February 24, in which eight militants described as Indian-sponsored “khwarij” were killed.
During the latest operation, security forces tracked militants across multiple locations and effectively targeted their hideouts. An exchange of fire resulted in the killing of 10 more militants.
ISPR stated that weapons, ammunition, and explosive materials were recovered from the possession of the slain militants. The statement added that those killed were involved in several terrorist activities in the area.
Security forces have continued sanitization operations to eliminate any remaining threats. According to ISPR, counterterrorism efforts under the National Action Plan will continue at full pace to eradicate externally sponsored terrorism from the country.
