Gold Price Drops by Rs700 Per Tola in Pakistan

Karachi: Gold and silver prices recorded a decline in Pakistan, in line with a slight decrease in the international market.

According to the local bullion market, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs700, bringing the new rate to Rs540,562. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs600 to Rs463,444.

In the global market, gold prices dropped by $7 per ounce, settling at $5,178 per ounce.

Silver prices also witnessed a notable decline in the domestic market. The price of silver per tola decreased by Rs350, reaching Rs9,204.

Market experts say fluctuations in international gold prices and changes in the value of the US dollar directly impact local bullion rates, leading to daily variations in gold and silver prices.
