Alima Khan Demands Access to PTI Founder’s Doctors Amid Prison Concerns

Rawalpindi: Alima Khan, sister of Imran Khan, has demanded that her brother’s personal doctors be allowed access to him, expressing concerns over his confinement in solitary conditions.
Speaking to the media near the Dahgal checkpoint outside Adiala Jail, Alima Khan said that she and her sisters had still not been able to meet Imran Khan. She quoted him as saying, “I am not being seen; my doctors should be allowed access to me.”
She emphasized that until his personal physicians conduct a thorough medical examination, the family would not rely on any third-party reports. “Our demand is that Imran Khan be fully examined in the presence of family members and his personal doctors. Until he reaches the hospital, we will not believe any claims about his health,” she said.
Imran Khan’s sister, Dr. Azma Khan, also added that if there is any illness, it should be disclosed openly instead of being concealed.
