Quadcopter Attack on FC Fort in Karak Leaves 7 Injured, Ambulance Also Targeted
Karak: A Federal Constabulary (FC) fort in Karak came under a rare attack involving a quadcopter, leaving seven personnel injured. The ambulance transporting the wounded was also fired upon, prompting a search operation in the area.
According to officials, five FC personnel were hurt in the initial attack at the fort located in the Dargah Shahidan area. They were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Subsequently, armed assailants opened fire on the ambulance carrying the injured, injuring two rescue workers.
District Police Officer of Karak confirmed that a search operation has been launched in the surrounding areas to track down the attackers. Authorities continue to investigate the incident, and security forces are on high alert in the district.
