Fawad Chaudhry Urges Access to Imran Khan’s Personal Doctor, Calls for End to Political Tension

**Islamabad (Qudrat Roznama)** – Leaders of the National Dialogue Committee have emphasized that former Prime Minister Imran Khan has the right to access his personal doctor and called for an end to the tense and abusive political environment in the country.
Speaking at a press conference, Fawad Chaudhry said that the nation is deeply concerned about Imran Khan’s health and that he should be allowed to decide who can be present with him in prison. “He has the right to consult his personal doctors and make decisions regarding his own care,” he stressed.
Chaudhry added that the National Dialogue Committee is working to normalize the country’s political climate. “Despite efforts by Imran Khan and his colleagues, revolution did not occur. Economic conditions have forced over 125 international companies to leave Pakistan, and reports from the IMF and State Bank show that the public is under immense pressure,” he said.
Former Federal Minister Muhammad Ali Durrani criticized the President for making an inappropriate statement that demeaned women and called for its retraction, emphasizing that unnecessary statements against Imran Khan should stop and that the formation of a national unity government is the only solution.
Barrister Muhammad Saif highlighted the urgent need for reconciliation in Pakistan’s political landscape. He urged all political leaders to come to the dialogue table and work toward uniting the nation, stressing that half the country remains affected by terrorism and political instability.
The Committee called for all parties to focus on dialogue and peaceful engagement to reduce tension and foster national unity.
