Gold and Silver Prices Surge Again in Pakistan — What Are the New Rates?

Karachi: Precious metal prices in Pakistan recorded another sharp increase on Thursday, 19 February 2026, following a rise in international bullion markets.

Gold (24-karat) per tola surged by Rs 7,900 to Rs 523,962, while the price for 10 grams rose by Rs 6,773 to Rs 449,212 in the local market.

Silver also gained ground, with the per tola rate climbing by Rs 358 to Rs 8,404, and 10 grams selling at Rs 7,205.

In global markets, gold’s value increased by about $79 per ounce to roughly $5,012, while silver reached around $79.20 per ounce.

Analysts attribute the price rise to ongoing global economic uncertainties and increased demand for safe-haven assets. With bullion markets remaining volatile, investors and buyers are advised to follow price trends closely before making large purchases.
