Punjab Introduces Biometric Verification for Vehicle Transactions, Eliminating Need to Visit Offices

**Lahore:** The Punjab government, in collaboration with NADRA, has introduced a new system to simplify the buying and selling of registered vehicles.

Under the new system, vehicle owners no longer need to visit offices for verification. Citizens can now complete biometric verification from home using NADRA’s Pak ID mobile app.

After completing the verification, parties can coordinate with the Excise and Taxation Department Punjab for further processing of vehicle transfer and registration procedures, streamlining the transaction process and making it more convenient for vehicle owners across Punjab.
