Thunderstorms and Light Rain Expected in Karachi, Says Met Department

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast moderate to light rain accompanied by thunderstorms in Karachi on Friday. Strong winds are also likely to blow during this period, according to the department.

The Met Office further stated that temperatures are expected to rise over the weekend, with the mercury possibly reaching 34 degrees Celsius or higher on Saturday and Sunday.

Officials added that weather conditions during Ramadan are likely to remain moderate, with daytime temperatures expected to hover around 30 degrees Celsius.
