Ali Amin Gandapur Extends Sit-In, Demands Medical Treatment for Imran Khan Under Personal Supervision

Islamabad: Ali Amin Gandapur, a senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has expressed serious concern over the health of former prime minister Imran Khan and announced the extension of an ongoing sit-in until their demands are met.
Speaking to the media outside Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House in Islamabad, Gandapur said the party’s primary demand is to ensure proper medical treatment for the PTI founder. “We have extended our sit-in and will continue to remain here until the issue is resolved,” he stated.
He claimed that party leaders were not officially informed about Imran Khan’s health condition and only learned about it through media reports citing sources. Gandapur criticized what he described as conflicting statements regarding the treatment provided, saying that clarity only emerged after lawyer Salman Safdar visited the jail and reported that the situation was serious.
Gandapur demanded that Imran Khan’s treatment be conducted under the supervision of his personal physician or a family member. “Our demand is that he be provided the medical care he requires,” he added, reiterating that the sit-in would continue until a satisfactory solution is reached.
