Priyanka Chopra Breaks Silence on Rumors of Split from Nick Jonas

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) – Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra has firmly dismissed rumors regarding her alleged separation from her husband, Nick Jonas, addressing the speculation in a candid response.

The 43-year-old actress said that if some people are wishing for the end of her marriage, they are free to keep those wishes to themselves, as she has stopped paying attention to such talk. This marks the first time she has openly spoken about the ongoing rumors that have surrounded the couple since the beginning of their relationship.

Recent reports once again fueled speculation about a possible split, bringing the matter back into the spotlight. Priyanka stated that she has never fully understood why certain people seemed uncomfortable with her marriage. She suggested that the reason might be their different cultural backgrounds.

She acknowledged that discussions about their different nationalities, religions, cultures, and age gap at the time of their wedding were somewhat hurtful. However, she emphasized that she and her husband chose to prioritize their relationship rather than give importance to outside opinions.

Priyanka noted that their marriage has now completed eight years. “If some people are still waiting for it to end, that is their personal mindset,” she said, adding that she does not believe it is worth dwelling on such negativity. According to her, every individual has the right to make their own life choices and decide whom they want to spend their life with.

Praising Nick Jonas, she described him as sincere and mature, qualities she believes he inherited from his parents. She added that when she first met him, she did not realize they shared similar values and outlooks, and that harmony has strengthened their bond over the years.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot in 2018 in Rajasthan, India. At the time, Priyanka was 36 and Nick was 26. The couple welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie, in January 2022.
