Ahmed Shehzad Breaks Down on Live Show After Missing PSL 11 Selection

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani cricketer **Ahmed Shehzad** became emotional on a live television show after revealing that he was **not selected for the 11th season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL)**.
Shehzad appeared on Geo News’ program *Hansna Mana Hai* alongside fellow cricketer **Mohammad Amir**. When asked about his reaction to missing out on the PSL squad, he said,
*”I feel very sad. Seeing my teammates happy gives me joy, but for myself, I feel disappointed.”*
The national cricketer became visibly emotional as he shared how his **9-year-old son** had been eager to watch him play. He said,
*”The hardest part is that my son wants to see me play. He sleeps with me at night and says, ‘Baba, I remember you used to play, and now I will remember you in a good way.’”*
Shehzad added, *”I am happy in general, but this is something that really hurts my heart and brings me great sadness.”*
