Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government Bans Male Faculty from Meeting Female Students Alone in Universities

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has imposed a ban on male faculty members meeting female students alone in their offices at all public universities across the province.
The Higher Education Department has issued a circular to all government universities instructing them to implement the new policy. According to the circular, each department must appoint a **female faculty member** who will be responsible for addressing the issues and complaints of female students.
The move aims to ensure a safer and more comfortable environment for female students while maintaining professional and transparent academic interactions.
