Imran Khan to Meet Lawyer at Adiala Jail as Authorities Finalize Arrangements

Rawalpindi: Barrister Salman Safdar, appointed as friend of the court by the Supreme Court, is scheduled to meet Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail today, according to jail sources.

The administration of Central Jail Adiala has finalized all arrangements for the meeting. Jail officials confirmed that Barrister Salman Safdar will arrive at the jail at 2:00 pm, and he has been formally informed about the meeting schedule.

However, it has not yet been decided whether the lawyer will be allowed to enter the inner compound where Imran Khan is lodged. Jail authorities have also informed the staff deployed for the former prime minister’s security and supervision.

In addition, doctors and medical staff responsible for conducting thrice-daily health checkups, nutritionists overseeing food quality, and personnel maintaining medical records have been notified in advance.

The meeting is taking place under the directives of the Supreme Court and is being closely coordinated by the jail administration.
