Russian Company Claims to Turn Pigeons into Surveillance “Bio-Drones

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily): A Russian company has recently claimed to have transformed pigeons into surveillance drones, also referred to as bio-drones.

According to reports, the Russian neurotechnology firm *Neiry Group* asserts that it has implanted pigeons with brain implants that allow their flight paths to be controlled remotely.

These pigeons are equipped with small cameras, GPS, and solar-powered controls, enabling them to provide live video feed similar to conventional drones.

Without the need for pilots or training, electric signals can instruct the pigeons to turn left, right, or follow a specific route.

The company claims that these bio-drones can fly longer than traditional drones and operate effectively in areas with limited airflow.
