Biometric Attendance Made Mandatory for Matric and Intermediate Exams
Islamabad (Qudrat Daily): The Lahore Board of Education has made biometric attendance compulsory for students appearing in Matric and Intermediate examinations.
According to the official notification, entry to exam centers will only be allowed after verification of both thumbs. Principals of schools and colleges in Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana Sahib have been instructed to record the students’ biometric fingerprints.
Before the exams, students will undergo biometric attendance at the examination center, with both thumbs being verified.
As per the board’s instructions, the head of each educational institution will arrange for biometric devices, and the collected data will be uploaded to the Lahore Board’s software. Recording biometric impressions of both thumbs for all students is mandatory.
