Several Countries Interested in Pakistan’s Fighter Jets and Defense Technology: Khawaja Asif

ISLAMABAD (Qudrat Roznama): Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has stated that several countries around the world are keen to acquire Pakistan’s fighter jets and other defense technologies.
According to a press release, Khawaja Asif arrived in Riyadh to participate in the World Defense Show at the invitation of the Saudi government. He was received by Saudi officials and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Farooq.
During his visit, the Defense Minister met with Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. Khawaja Asif congratulated the Saudi leadership on the successful organization of the World Defense Show, calling the global defense event a significant milestone for promoting regional defense cooperation.
Speaking at the exhibition, he said, “Pakistan has established a unique position in the world in terms of defense capabilities, and several countries are interested in acquiring our fighter jets and other defense technology.” He also emphasized that Pakistan’s defense capabilities will play a major role in strengthening the national economy.
The defense exhibition features participation from 80 countries, including Pakistan. Pakistani organizations such as Global Industrial & Defense Solutions, Heavy Industries Taxila, and Pakistan Ordnance Factory are showcasing their products. Highlighted exhibits include the “Fatah-2” missile and other defense equipment that strengthen Pakistan’s strategic line against India.
