PM and Opposition Leader Meeting Confirmed, Date and Venue Yet to Be Decided: Rana Sanaullah

**Islamabad (Qudrat Daily):** Senator Rana Sanaullah, Political Affairs Advisor to the Prime Minister, stated that the rules for fair elections must be finalized by politicians through negotiations.

Speaking on Geo News’ program *Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Ke Saath*, Rana Sanaullah confirmed that a meeting between **Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Opposition Leader Mahmood Achakzai** is certain.

He added that the **date and venue** of the meeting have not yet been finalized. “If Mahmood Achakzai wishes to attend, he is welcome,” he said. The senator noted that when both leaders are present in the assembly, the meeting will take place.

Rana Sanaullah emphasized that if meeting before **February 8** compromises the opposition leader’s position, it can be held afterward. He questioned who has been unwilling to negotiate since **October 2011**, highlighting that until politicians sit down for talks, election rules cannot be drafted.

He concluded by stating with confidence that **Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has ensured the involvement of allies, party leadership, and the establishment** in preparation for the negotiations.
