Mahmood Khan Achakzai Highlights Restrictions in Balochistan, Urges Stronger Parliament

**Islamabad (Qudrat):** Opposition Leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai has raised serious concerns about the security and governance situation in Balochistan, stating that buses carrying pilgrims have been stopped for ID checks, with passengers sometimes targeted and killed. He added that in Balochistan, no political gathering can take place against the wishes of local tribal leaders.

Speaking in the National Assembly, Achakzai emphasized the need to bridge gaps between political representatives and strengthen the parliamentary system. He highlighted that while Sui gas reaches across Pakistan, it remains unavailable to local communities in Balochistan.

Addressing media outside Parliament House, he stressed that terrorism is a grave threat wherever it occurs and called for decisive action. “External forces come and manipulate us into conflict; this is a test for us,” he said.

Achakzai urged political leaders to come together to seek solutions, noting that the best way to resolve issues lies in a strong and united parliament capable of addressing Balochistan’s challenges and ensuring security and justice for all citizens.
