Senior Politician Condemns Shah Nawaz Gul Rind’s Abduction, Calls It a Reflection of Lawlessness in Balochistan

Quetta: Senior politician and former federal minister Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind has strongly condemned the abduction of Shah Nawaz Gul Rind from Turbat, calling it a stark reflection of the deteriorating law and order situation in the province and a serious question mark on the government’s writ.
In a statement, the head of the Rind tribe said that kidnapping for ransom has become an organized business in Balochistan, leaving innocent and defenseless citizens at the mercy of criminals. He described the abduction of Shah Nawaz Gul Rind as a direct challenge to the performance of the provincial administration and government.
Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind emphasized that it is the government’s foremost responsibility to ensure the safety of its citizens, but unfortunately, people remain insecure while criminal elements operate without fear. He urged the authorities to take immediate and concrete steps to safely recover Shah Nawaz Gul Rind.
He further demanded that those involved in the kidnapping be immediately arrested and brought to justice, and that an effective strategy be implemented across the province to eradicate ransom-based abductions.
