Trader Robbed of Rs 8 Million in Karachi’s Saddar Area

A robbery incident was reported in Karachi’s Saddar area on Zainab-un-Nisa Street, where armed criminals looted a trader and fled the scene.
According to SSP South Mahzoor Ali, two motorcyclists snatched Rs 8 million from an electronics trader and managed to escape. Police said the trader had withdrawn the cash from a bank in Saddar and was carrying the money on a motorcycle when the robbery took place. The incident occurred on Sunday evening.
Police have registered a case and launched a search operation to trace and arrest the suspects.
It is worth noting that a similar incident took place two days earlier near Singer Chowrangi in Korangi, where robbers looted a petrol pump of millions of rupees and fled.
In that case, police stated that the cashier was on his way to deposit money in a bank without a security guard when armed robbers arrived and snatched Rs 3.3 million before escaping.
