PTI’s Asad Qaiser Urges Federal Government to Acknowledge Failures Over Tiraah Displacement

**Islamabad (Qudrat Daily):**
PTI leader Asad Qaiser criticized the federal ministers’ recent press conference on the Tiraah operation, calling it “misleading and contrary to facts.”
In a statement, Qaiser said that the controversial PECA law, often blamed for suppressing rights, is primarily the responsibility of the PML-N. He added that during the press conference, not only were independent journalists sidelined, but those asking questions based on ground realities were also silenced—another example of PML-N’s influence.
Qaiser expressed dismay that while one minister was busy taking credit for the operation, another compared the large-scale human displacement to events of 1880, which he called “an insult to public awareness.” He urged the federal government to openly acknowledge its failures instead of blaming the provincial administration.
Commenting on recent news about former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s health, Qaiser said reports indicated he was taken to PIMS Hospital in Islamabad for treatment. He stressed the urgency of facilitating meetings between Khan, his family, and party leadership. Qaiser further warned that “the rule of the jungle prevails in the country; the state has become a republic where the government disregards law and courts.”
