Sindh Government Denies Claims of Withdrawal of Security from MQM Ministers

Karachi: The Sindh government has rejected claims that security was withdrawn from ministers of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), terming the allegations false and politically motivated.
Sindh government spokesperson Samita Afzal Syed said that MQM has once again resorted to what she described as false narratives and negative propaganda. She clarified that no security has been withdrawn from any MQM minister or leader.
“Those individuals who are entitled to security continue to receive full protection,” the spokesperson said, adding that security arrangements are being provided strictly in accordance with the law and established security protocols.
Samita Afzal Syed further stated that MQM’s allegations regarding security are baseless and aimed solely at political point-scoring.
