NADRA Launches Pakistan’s First Bug Bounty Challenge to Strengthen Cybersecurity

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched Pakistan’s first-ever Bug Bounty Challenge.
Organized in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission and the National Cyber Emergency Response Team, the competition allows students and cybersecurity experts to participate in teams. Participants will have the opportunity to identify cybersecurity vulnerabilities and conduct analytical assessments.
According to reports, the Bug Bounty Challenge aims to promote advanced cybersecurity skills while strengthening public trust in the national digital identity system.
Regional competitions will begin on January 27 in several cities, including Swabi, Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, and Quetta. The grand finale of Bug Bounty Challenge 2026 will be held at NADRA Headquarters in Islamabad, with the exact date to be announced later.
