Rare Astronomical Sight: Six Planets Align in February 2026

**Islamabad (Qudrat Daily):** Astronomy enthusiasts are in for a rare and memorable spectacle this February, as six planets will be visible in the night sky simultaneously.

International sources describe this phenomenon as a “planetary parade,” which occurs when several planets of the solar system appear in a specific alignment.

According to experts, Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune will be clearly visible in February, while Mars will be absent from this celestial display. The planets will be observable from different angles over several days, with the best viewing in the Northern Hemisphere expected during the last week of February.

Most planets will be visible shortly before sunset, making observation through telescopes easier. Mercury and Venus will only be visible for 30 to 45 minutes, whereas Saturn and Neptune will appear together, and Jupiter and Uranus will remain visible for longer periods.

The planetary parade can be seen from various parts of the world, though local timings and viewing angles differ, making it important to consult online astronomy services for accurate observation times.

Experts note that 2026 will feature three planetary parades in total: six planets in February, five in April, and six again in August. These rare celestial events not only foster scientific interest but also inspire curiosity and awareness about the universe among the general public.
