Iqrar-ul-Hassan’s Third Wife Aroosa Khan Faces Backlash After Revealing Costly Clothes and Accessories
Lahore: Aroosa Khan, the third wife of renowned journalist and TV host Iqrar-ul-Hassan, has come under criticism on social media after being accused of flaunting wealth during a recent shopping outing.
A few days ago, Aroosa Khan was spotted shopping in Lahore, where a digital content creator asked her about the prices of her outfit, jewelry, and accessories. While sharing the details, Aroosa said she currently feels financially comfortable because she has access to Iqrar-ul-Hassan’s cards. She revealed that her locket, gifted by her husband and engraved with both their names, cost Rs650,000.
She further disclosed that her coat by designer Ahsan Tariq cost Rs85,000, her maxi dress Rs30,000, shoes Rs22,000, and her watch Rs170,000, which she said was purchased at a discount. Aroosa added that her ring, bought from Prague, cost Rs49,000, while her earrings cost Rs11,500 and were recently purchased from the UK. She also mentioned that she had recently bought an iPhone 17 Pro.
Following these remarks, social media users reacted strongly, criticizing what they described as unnecessary show of wealth. One user commented that if the prices had not been mentioned, no one would have paid much attention. Another wrote that this reflects the lifestyle of non-political elites, questioning how extravagant the lives of others might be. Some users expressed contentment with simple living and shopping from local markets, while another sarcastically remarked that with such spending, one could afford “ten wives.”
