Terrorist Attack on Police in Bannu, Two Militants Killed; Bomb Blast Destroys Bridge in Miryan

Bannu: Militants attacked a police mobile on Domail Chashmi Road, officials reported. According to the Deputy Inspector General (DIG), two terrorists were killed during the police’s retaliatory action, while their accomplices fled the scene, leaving behind the bodies of the deceased militants.

In a separate incident in Miryan, unidentified individuals planted explosives on the Rabta Bridge, which were later detonated, causing the bridge to collapse. Authorities confirmed that the explosive device had been installed underneath the bridge.

Security forces have launched investigations into both incidents, and increased patrols have been ordered in the affected areas to prevent further attacks.
