Mohammad Yousuf Criticizes ICC Over Bangladesh T20 World Cup Exclusion

**Islamabad:** Former Pakistan cricket captain and Test player Mohammad Yousuf has criticized the International Cricket Council (ICC) over its decision to exclude Bangladesh from the 2026 T20 World Cup.
Responding to the issue, Yousuf said it is deeply disappointing for cricket-loving nations to see Bangladesh barred from the tournament due to unresolved security concerns.
He recalled that in similar situations in the past, neutral venues were approved to address security issues, stressing that rules should not change for a single country.
Yousuf added that the ICC must act as a fair international governing body, rather than appearing to favor the interests of any one board. He emphasized that justice and consistent standards form the true foundation of international cricket.
