President Asif Ali Zardari Emphasizes Youth and Education as Key to Pakistan’s Future

President Asif Ali Zardari has highlighted the crucial role of youth in shaping Pakistan’s future. On the occasion of World Education Day, he stated that young people are playing a central role in the collective development of education.
Speaking on the importance of education, President Zardari emphasized that learning should not merely be about acquiring information but also about fostering curiosity, skills, and character. He recalled that Article 25-A of the Constitution of Pakistan reflects the nation’s commitment to free and compulsory education.
He added that, in line with modern global demands, promoting digital literacy and practical skills in education has become indispensable. According to him, progress is impossible without research, innovation, and digital education.
The President also noted that technical and vocational education is providing youth with opportunities for dignified employment. He stressed that equal access to education must be ensured for women and youth from underdeveloped areas.
President Zardari concluded by saying that education is a national priority, youth must be made active partners in the process, and that education forms the foundation for peace, development, and prosperity.
