PkMAP Backs Grand Alliance Demands, Directs Workers to Prepare for January 26 Province-Wide Protest

**Quetta:** The Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party (PkMAP) has announced its full support for the demands of the Grand Alliance of employees and endorsed the decisions taken at the All Parties Conference (APC), while directing its workers to prepare for the protest scheduled for January 26.

In a provincial press release, PkMAP stated that due to ongoing protests by government employees across the bi-national province, government institutions have been paralyzed. The party strongly condemned what it described as the unjustified and unlawful arrests of employee leaders and workers, saying such actions have further worsened the situation.

The statement noted that a PkMAP delegation participated in the APC held earlier in the day. The delegation included Senior Secretary Syed Abdul Qadir Agha Advocate, Central Secretary Allah Noor Khan (Chairman), Provincial Senior Secretary Faqir Khushal Kasi, and Provincial Deputy Secretary Fayaz Khan.

Reaffirming its support for the APC’s decisions, the Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party instructed all district- and area-level office-bearers and workers to intensify contact campaigns to ensure the success of the January 26 protest demonstrations in their respective districts. The party also directed its leadership and workers to establish effective coordination at the district level with Grand Alliance employees and allied organizations.

PkMAP emphasized that peaceful protest is a democratic right and urged the provincial government to address the legitimate demands of employees through dialogue instead of coercive measures.
