Trump Warns French President Macron Over Political Future Amid Tensions

**Washington:** U.S. President Donald Trump made strong remarks regarding the political future of French President Emmanuel Macron, stating that Macron will not remain in office for long.

According to international news agencies, efforts by the U.S. to gain control over Greenland have heightened tensions between Europe and America, causing unease among European nations and volatility in global financial markets.

In response, President Macron has taken a firmer stance than other European leaders, urging the European Union to implement its toughest trade measures against the U.S.

Trump also expressed frustration over Macron’s hesitation to join his proposed “Board of Peace,” citing concerns Macron raised about its potential impact on the role of the United Nations.

When asked about Macron’s position, Trump commented, “Did he really say that? Anyway, nobody really wants him, and he will be out of power very soon.”

The U.S. President further stated that he could impose a 200% tariff on French wine and champagne, claiming that such measures would force France to cooperate. However, he emphasized that Macron’s participation in the board is not essential.
