Field Marshal Asim Munir Attends Junaid Safdar’s Walima Ceremony at Jati Umra

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily): Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and several prominent political and social figures attended the walima ceremony of Junaid Safdar, grandson of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif and son of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

The walima of Junaid Safdar and Shanaya Ali Roheel was held at Jati Umra Farms, where around 800 guests were invited. Field Marshal Asim Munir made a special appearance at the ceremony and was warmly welcomed by Nawaz Sharif.

Among the notable attendees were Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, former Punjab chief minister Hamza Shehbaz, senior politician Sheikh Roheel Asghar, Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker of the Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan, Federal Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, PML-N Lahore President Malik Saif-ul-Malook Khokhar, provincial ministers, members of the National and Provincial Assemblies, and other party leaders.

Guests were served an elaborate traditional dinner, including soup, chicken tempura, desi chicken, Amritsari mutton pulao, fish, and carrot halwa prepared in desi ghee, adding to the grandeur of the event.
