Kohistan Corruption Scandal: JUI-Linked Accused Arrested from Abbottabad

Peshawar: Another accused involved in the Kohistan corruption scandal, identified as Amir Zaib, has been arrested from Abbottabad.

According to sources, the arrested suspect is affiliated with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI). An accountability court has handed him over to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on a 10-day physical remand for further investigation.

NAB officials stated that more than Rs 357.2 million were transferred into the accused’s bank account. The suspect will be presented again before the accountability court on January 27.
