Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman Warn US Against Attacking Iran, Citing Global Oil Market Risks

**Islamabad (Qudrat Daily):**
According to the **Wall Street Journal**, Gulf countries led by **Saudi Arabia** have opposed a potential US military strike on **Iran**, warning that such an action could destabilize the **global oil market** and negatively impact the **US economy**.

The report states that while these Arab nations appear quiet publicly, they are actively lobbying behind the scenes to **prevent a US attack on Iran**, emphasizing the economic consequences for the international oil market.

**Saudi officials have assured Tehran** that they will not engage in any conflict with Iran and will **deny US forces the use of their airspace** for an attack, signaling an effort to keep themselves out of any confrontation and to curb US military action.

The Wall Street Journal notes that the Gulf states are concerned that a strike on Iran could **disrupt tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz**, the narrow passage connecting the Persian Gulf to the Arabian Sea. This strategic waterway handles nearly **one-fifth of the world’s oil shipments** and separates Iran from its Arab neighbors.

While the **Trump administration** has not clarified the nature of any contemplated military action, officials suggest that the possibility of a strike remains high. A White House official told the Wall Street Journal that **President Trump has all options on the table** for dealing with Iran, hearing multiple viewpoints but ultimately making decisions he considers best.

Recently, Trump directly addressed Iranian protesters, urging them to **resist government suppression of protests** and **take control of state institutions**, while posting on his social media platform **Truth Social** that “help is on the way.”

The warnings from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman underscore the region’s concern that military escalation could trigger **severe global economic and energy repercussions**.
