Dense Fog Disrupts Traffic, Several Motorway Sections Closed

Severe fog in various cities across the country has drastically reduced visibility, forcing the closure of several motorway sections to traffic.

According to a spokesperson for the **Motorway Police**, the **Lahore–Islamabad Motorway (M-2)** has been **completely closed** due to dense fog in order to prevent possible accidents.

Similarly, the **Lahore–Sialkot Motorway (M-11)** has also been affected by heavy fog. The motorway has been **closed for all types of traffic from Kala Shah Kaku to Sambrial**.

The Motorway Police have advised citizens to **avoid unnecessary travel** and postpone journeys until visibility improves. The spokesperson said that motorways will be **reopened in phases** once weather conditions get better.

Drivers have also been urged to **reduce speed**, use **fog lights**, and maintain a **safe distance** to avoid any untoward incidents during foggy conditions.
