Spanish Influencer Dies During Live Stream After Consuming Excess Drugs and Alcohol

*Islamabad:* A tragic incident in Spain has shaken the social media world, as 37-year-old streamer and influencer Sergio Jiménez died while attempting a dangerous live-stream challenge involving excessive alcohol and drugs.

During the live broadcast, Sergio promised viewers that if they sent money, he would consume six grams of cocaine and an entire bottle of whiskey. Encouraged by online users and some even sending money, he began taking the cocaine and drinking the whiskey. His condition rapidly deteriorated, and he passed away before emergency services could arrive.

Sergio’s mother, Teresa, recounted how she found her son collapsed near the bed around 2 a.m., with energy drinks, drugs, and an almost empty whiskey bottle scattered in the room.

Authorities have launched an investigation, and a post-mortem has been conducted. Sergio had gained online fame after appearing in videos with another controversial streamer, Simon Pérez, known for drug use on live streams.

Experts warn that such online challenges are increasingly becoming life-threatening trends for young content creators and viewers alike.
