Gold Prices Drop After Two Days of Gains; Tola Price Falls by Rs1,200

Karachi: After two days of upward movement, gold prices in Pakistan’s local markets have declined, while silver prices remain stable. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa, Gems & Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs1,200 today.

The latest rates from the association indicate that the price of 24-carat gold per tola fell to Rs466,762. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs1,028 to reach Rs417,300. The price of 10 grams of 22-carat gold also declined by Rs942, closing at Rs365,896.

In the international market, gold saw a minor drop, with the price of one ounce falling by $12 to $4,444. Meanwhile, silver remained steady at $78.86 per ounce globally.
