PTI Senior Leaders, Including Junaid Akbar, Revealed to Have Made a Secret Visit to Lahore

**Lahore:** A secret visit to Lahore by senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa PTI President Junaid Akbar and former Speaker of the National Assembly Asad Qaiser, has come to light, during which they held meetings at various locations.
According to Express News, sources said that Junaid Akbar and Asad Qaiser quietly traveled to Lahore primarily to congratulate local businessman Salman Haseeb Chaudhry on his daughter’s wedding. Salman Haseeb Chaudhry was associated with PTI until about two years ago but later joined the Aleem Khan group after his relations with PTI founder Imran Khan deteriorated.
Sources further revealed that former Punjab Governor Latif Khosa received the two PTI leaders upon their arrival in Lahore. During the visit, Junaid Akbar and Asad Qaiser also held several meetings at different locations in the city.
It was also reported that the local PTI leadership in Lahore was neither informed about the visit nor invited to any of the meetings.
Additionally, sources disclosed that Mahmood Khan Achakzai, head of Tehreek Tahaffuz Aeen Pakistan, is expected to visit Lahore on December 9, 10, and 11, where he plans to hold meetings with local leadership in connection with the ongoing political movement.
