Flour Prices Surge in Quetta: 20kg Bag at Rs 2,500, 50kg Bag at Rs 6,250

**Quetta:** Flour prices in Quetta have risen once again, causing concern among residents. According to market sources, the price of a 20-kilogram bag has increased by Rs 200, reaching Rs 2,500, while a 50-kilogram sack now costs Rs 6,250 after a Rs 500 hike.

Dealers reported that the government’s wheat stock is nearing depletion, and Punjab has implemented district-based restrictions, contributing to the price surge. The Balochistan Food Department stated that private sector purchases of wheat had been regulated to control market instability; however, continuous price increases are affecting the daily lives of citizens.
