No One Allowed to Meet Imran Khan Again, Aleema Khan Begins March Towards Jail

Rawalpindi: Despite it being the scheduled day for meetings with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, no one, including his sisters, was allowed to meet him in jail on Tuesday. In protest, his sister Aleema Khan has begun a march on foot towards Adiala Jail.
Family members and lawyers usually meet Imran Khan at Adiala Jail on Tuesdays; however, his meetings have remained restricted for some time.

Meanwhile, a large number of PTI workers are also present outside Adiala Jail, chanting slogans in support of Imran Khan.
It is pertinent to note that the government has imposed restrictions on meetings with the PTI founder, maintaining that no one can be allowed to make political decisions from inside jail.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had offered negotiations to PTI, which the party declined. However, the Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz-e-Aain Pakistan, an alliance that includes PTI, has expressed willingness to engage in talks.
