FBR Seals Two Sugar Mills in Central Punjab Over Major Tax Violations

Islamabad – The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has sealed two sugar mills in central Punjab for serious violations of tax laws.

According to the FBR, the action aligns with the government’s zero-tolerance policy against tax law violations. Strict enforcement of sales tax regulations will continue, particularly in high-risk sectors.

All enforcement measures are being conducted in accordance with the law, ensuring transparency and adherence to established legal procedures. The FBR emphasized that compliant taxpayers will continue to enjoy a level playing field, while voluntary compliance by industries will be encouraged.
