State Never Tires, Those Dreaming of Dividing Pakistan Like a Cake Will Fail: CM Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti

Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that the state of Pakistan is strong and invincible, and will endure forever, adding that those who dream of dividing Pakistan like a cake will never succeed.

Addressing participants of the 18th Balochistan National Workshop, the chief minister said that youth are Pakistan’s bright future and the nation’s most valuable asset, stressing the need to educate the younger generation about accurate historical facts and the national narrative.

He rejected the notion of indiscriminate use of force in Balochistan, stating that the state has never pursued a policy of blind coercion. He said that limited and targeted actions cannot be termed as state operations and emphasized the need to distinguish between ground realities and misleading perceptions about the province.

CM Bugti said that organized false narratives are being spread through social media to create distance between the youth and the state. He warned that young people are being misled through psychological manipulation and systematic recruitment tactics, adding that dreams of weakening the state through violence and chaos will never materialize.

Offering dialogue, he said he is ready to engage with youth at every educational institution, university, and national forum, and will answer even the toughest questions with logic, dialogue, and facts. He urged young people to avoid blindly following negative narratives without verification and instead adopt positive, truth-based thinking.

Highlighting the provincial government’s performance, the chief minister said an effective governance model is being introduced in Balochistan, noting that poor governance fuels anti-state sentiments while good governance ensures stability. He revealed that more than 3,200 closed schools have been reopened across the province, and basic healthcare facilities have been provided in several underdeveloped areas for the first time since the creation of Pakistan.

He termed the Benazir Bhutto Scholarship Programme as the largest educational scholarship initiative in Balochistan’s history, under which scholarships are also being awarded to children of civilian martyrs, minorities, and transgender persons.

CM Bugti added that students from Balochistan can now pursue education in science subjects at top global universities, with opportunities for PhD studies opened in more than 200 international universities. He reaffirmed his commitment to continue working for the betterment of Balochistan until his last day, hour, and moment.
