Trump Praises Field Marshal Asim Munir and PM Shehbaz Sharif, Recalls Role in Halting Pak-India War

Florida:US President Donald Trump has once again praised Pakistan’s Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, recalling his role in stopping the Pakistan–India war.

Addressing a press conference in Florida alongside the US Secretary of Defense and Secretary of the Navy, President Trump referred to the Pakistan-India conflict and mentioned the destruction of aircraft during the fighting. He said he has so far helped stop eight wars around the world, including a potential nuclear conflict between Pakistan and India. According to Trump, eight aircraft were shot down during that conflict.

President Trump said that Pakistan’s Field Marshal is a highly respected figure and added that Field Marshal Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif acknowledged that by stopping the war, he helped save the lives of nearly 10 million people.

During the press conference, Trump also announced plans to build a new “Trump-class” naval ship, claiming it would be 100 times more powerful. He said the United States is currently building 15 submarines and is at least 15 years ahead of any other country in submarine technology. “China and Russia cannot compete with us in submarines,” he said, adding that these submarines would strike fear into America’s enemies across the world.

The US president further stated that a ship named *Victory* would help maintain the strength of the US military and revive the American shipbuilding industry. He emphasized that the US Navy is being made the most powerful navy in the world, with improvements also being made to naval headquarters.

Trump concluded by saying that countries which mocked the United States a year or two ago now respect it.
